2010 Summer Programs

You will feel right at home at any SENIOR SUMMER SCHOOL program. The price includes, accommodations, meals, daily classes/lectures, a couple of sight-seeing trips and either a nightly lecture or entertainment. Each is designed to incorporate leisure, education, and discovery. You choose which program best fits your summer schedule.

Accommodations include private residence hall suites, hotels, and private apartments. Most locations are consistent in providing modern buildings, elevators, weekly housekeeping service, TV viewing areas, laundry and vending services and rooms wired for individual TV/phone service. Exercise facilities, computer centers, and recreational areas are available at most programs.

High quality meals are freshly prepared, served cafeteria-style, with unlimited servings. Each meal is carefully designed to service a selection of hot entrees, as well as salads, with a great variety of drinks and desserts. Classes programs and performances are an extension of each university. In addition, all classes are optional, so you have the opportunity of choosing interesting subjects, taught by highly qualified instructors, eager to involve you in their specialties. There are no marks, grades, or mandatory attendance requirements. The only requirement is a desire to learn or experience something new. You'll find yourself in class with a range of people, who never attended college to those with college and doctorate degrees. A great variety of field trips and local area attractions are offered for free or at a nominal cost

Our program prides itself on a mix of couples and singles - everyone feels welcome! Not only do we provide you with a wonderful place to spend your summer, but it is also a great opportunity to meet new friends and establish new relationships.
